SALES AND MARKETING

One of the best ways to bring a sale to a close
is with the sentence,

"Where do we go from here?" This question, used when all needs have been identified and all solutions have been explained, can help the prospect feel comfortable enough to make the deal.

DISTRIBUTOR INTERVIEW

Direct Growth
By Kara S. Carpenter,
FORM Assistant Editor

This week’s distributor interview is with Brian Snider, president of GRI Direct, a distributorship in Westport, Conn., that specializes in direct marketing to Fortune 500 companies. In 1985, Snider’s father Gerald Snider established the company as a business forms distributorship under the name GRI Inc. But when Brian Snider took over the business in 1990, he quickly discovered growth in direct mail. Though the company still sells business forms, checks and purchase orders, direct mail now makes up a whopping 90 percent of its business. Click here for more.
