An Invitation to join DMIA's Special Interest Group Program
There was a time when a DMIA member's primary focus was business forms.
Although forms are still important, the membership has diversified into many new products and services. To help grow your bottom line we introduced a custom
members-only service... Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
SIGs are groups of members with the same interests. When you join a SIG, all of the programs and services will be specific to that interest. The SIG program began in November 2002. Seven SIGs have been formed, and if you want more we'll form more.
A Chairman and DMIA staff person have been appointed to each SIG...

If your company already concentrates on any of the above products/services, you need to join a SIG. Additionally, if you are looking to begin selling any of the above products/services, you need to join a SIG. Your SIG services will include:
- A Listserv dedicated to discussions of the SIG's interest only. Additionally, specific questions/issues will be posted at least monthly for all SIG members to discuss so you can be sure the conversation will be specific to your interest and needs.
- Monthly survey results that will help you increase your sales/profits. Surveys will cover anything from average selling prices, to average margins to salary averages... all specific to your SIG's interest. And, as a SIG member, you'll be able to request surveys that will help you be more successful.
- An expertise directory of members in your SIG. Now you will be able to find the member who has the knowledge you need, be able to contact him or her and get answers to your questions.
- There will be at minimum two SIG meetings per year that will be specific to your SIG's interest... one at the Spring Management Conference and one at the Annual Conference. If you want more meetings, we'll set them up.
- A DMIA staff person will be dedicated to each SIG so you know you'll get the service and attention you need.
SIG memberships will be company memberships. When you join a SIG you'll receive a password that will allow you to participate in SIG services. You can share the password with anyone in your company. You must be a SIG member to receive SIG services.
SIG participation will help grow your bottom line. You need to sign up for one or more SIGs today. If you have any questions, please give me or the staff representative for the SIG(s) you are interested in a call.
Sincerely,
Peter Colaianni, CAE
Executive Vice President
