How to Use the Source Hotline Online Search Engine

Start your search by clicking on a region, then fill in the log-inscreen form. If you click the box to "save to permanent cookie," youwon't have to log on every time you use the system. We recommend thatyou use the "cookie" function.* It will make your session very user-friendly.

Select one of the 10 major product categories to begin your search. Newpages will appear as you narrow your search.

The system will display search results. Click on a company name to getmore information on that source. If you click on a box to the right ofthe company name, that company will receive an email Request for Quotefrom you. (See step 4.) Note the bottom button that says "Results forNew Region." Clicking this button takes you to a page with results ofyour search for every region. Click on a region number to see theresults of your search in that geographic area.) After you have selectedcompanies to receive your RFQ, click on the button that says "go to nextstep to send emails."

Your RFQ is nearly done. Your personal information already has beenfilled in (another benefit of "saving to a permanent cookie"*), and thereare two text boxes for your use at the bottom for details about theorder specs or tracking information about your RFQ.

After you click to send your RFQ emails, you'll see this PricingWorksheet. You may print it out or save it on our system and update itvia your computer. (We recommend that you keep paper records of yourRFQs.) Each time you log back on, your pricing sheets will be online foryou—and only you—to review and update.
