How to Use This Press Release- Create your own news release on your company letterhead. Be sure to insert your name, date, addresses, etc., where noted. Also, add your name and phone number on the "Contact" portion of the release.
- Call the newspapers and industry publications that you would like to run your release to find out the name of the editor that should receive your release. Address it to him or her.
- If the publication uses photos, enclose a professional black and white photograph, if available, with your name and company listed on the back. Do not send snapshots.
- Follow up within a few days with a phone call to the editors to see if they received your release.

(Your Name) Earns National Industry Certification
YOUR NAME, TITLE, COMPANY, ADDRESS, CITY, STATE, recently earned the business printing industry's most prestigious designation/accreditation as a Certified Document Consultant (CDC).
To achieve this honor, NAME successfully completed an extensive examination on the design, construction, and application of business forms and document systems. In addition, HE/SHE met the strict experience qualifications required for CDC certification.
The CDC designation was instituted by the $13 billion business printing industry as a means to raise professional standards, improve practices, and give special recognition to those who advance the stature of the business document and information services profession.
