

















 | Meet DMIA's Board of DirectorsMembers of DMIA's Board of Directors are industry leaders, chosen because of the value they bring to directing the affairs of the association. Board members enjoy equal status and opportunities to serve the association, whether they're distributors, manufacturers or suppliers. The Board is composed of up to 15 directors, including a 5-member Executive Committee. The Executive Committee also serves as the Board's Finance Committee. Board candidates are elected by the DMIA's membership and serve 3-year terms. Executive Committee members serve as officers of the Board and are elected by the Board. Timothy J. Mehl, CDC, CEO of Dispatch, a manufacturer in Erie, Pa., is DMIA's president for 2005-2006. In 2004-2005, he was vice president. In 2003-2004, he was the treasurer. In 2001-2002, he was a member of the Board's Planning and Resources Committee. In 2000-2001, he was a member of its Leadership Development Committee. At the 2002 SMC, Mehl helped to facilitate the "Promotional Products" and "Commercial Printing/Direct Mail" meetings and served on the Distance Learning Committee. At the 2001 SMC, he was a member of DMIA's Solution Center Committee. Mehl has served on numerous FUTRENDS Groups and as DMIA's Regional Coordinator for Region 8 from 1991-93. Mehl is a former member of The International Association for Document Technologies' board of directors.
Godfrey M. "Jeff" Long, director of Graphic Dimensions, a manufacturer based in Atlanta, is DMIA's immediate past president. He works at the company's Newport, Ky., location. He served as DMIA's president for 2004-2005, vice president for 2003-2004 and was DMIA's treasurer in 2002-2003. In 2001-2002, he was DMIA's manufacturer second vice president, a member of the Board's Leadership Development Committee and a member of its Finance Committee. In 2000-2001, he was a member of the Board's Leadership Development Committee. Long helped to facilitate the "Document Production and Processes" meeting and was a member of the Trade Show Committee at the 2002 SMC. Long served on DMIA's Membership Committee at the 2001 Spring Management Conference (SMC). In 1998-99, he served as a local coordinator for Region 8. Long was DMIA's national membership chairperson in 1997.

He served as treasurer in 2003-2004. He was a member of the Board's Planning and Resources Committee for the last three years. At the 2002 SMC, Riley helped to facilitate the "MICR Checks and Financial Document Update" meeting. At the 2001 SMC, he was a member of DMIA's Education Committee and its Membership Committee. He has been involved in past FUTRENDS Groups.

In 2001-2002, he was a member of the Board's Planning and Resources Committee and has attended numerous DMIA meetings. At the 2002 SMC, he helped to facilitate the "Promotional Products" and the "Commercial Printing/Direct Mail" meetings. The Vanguard team was named DMIA's Member of the Year in 2003.

Colaianni, CAE, is DMIA's chief staff executive, serving as the association's executive vice president since 1991. Colaianni, who has been with DMIA for 23 years, directs its five department heads. He's responsible for the successful operation of the association's finances, administration, operations and member programs. Colaianni works with the Board and its Executive Committee to ensure that DMIA's programs and services meet member needs.

|  | Michael R. Fisher, CDC, is president and CEO of PrintConceptsx, a distributorship in Allentown, Pa. He was the 2004-2005 chairman of the Board's Leadership & Governance Committee. In 2002-2003 he was DMIA's regional director for Region 2. At the 2002 SMC, he chaired the Solution Center Committee. Fisher also is a member of the Muhlenberg College Board of Associates, Allentown, Pa.; the KidsPeace's TeenCentral.Net Board of Advisors, Schnecksville, Pa.; the Lehigh Valley Postal Customers Council; and the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. He has taught direct mail seminars for the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). |

|  | J. Lawrence Jones is director of marketing for carbonless rolls and security papers at MeadWestvaco Inc., a supplier based in Stamford, Conn. In 2002, he served as a member of the Associates Board of the International Association for Document and Information Management Solutions (IBFI). In 2001, he participated in a joint task force consisting of suppliers and manufacturers to rewrite the DMIA membership charter to give suppliers, manufacturers and distributors equal standing. |
